Youth Services
Our youth services support over 300 young people each year to build their knowledge, skills and confidence to ensure they thrive in later life.
Social & Wellbeing
Youth Club
Our weekly Youth Club welcomes over 100 young people each year, providing a safe space for young people to build friendships, attend workshops of an array of topics and plan the future of our Youth Service.
Sports Activities
We support young people to stay fit and active through weekly swimming, running and football activities delivered in Tooting.
Trips
Throughout the year we run trips to diverse locations chosen by young people. Most recently young people have chosen to visit a skate park, the cinema, the theatre and a variety of sports activities including boxing.
Residentials
Each summer we run a residential program for 20 young people, providing them with the opportunity to leave London, connect with nature and enjoy a variety of first-time experience including axe throwing and climbing.
Education
Get Ready for School Programme
Our flagship GRS program provides 10 hours of classes each week to new-arrival asylum seekers who wait on average 9 months to access mainstream education. Through a variety of fun and engaging classes led by sector experts, we support young people to build their English, numeracy, literacy and digital skills to enable them to excel in school and college.
Thrive In School Programme
In tandem, our Thrive in School Program provides ESOL, homework support and exam preparation classes for individuals enrolled in mainstream education to ensure they have the dedicated support the need to achieve academic success.
Employability Programme
Throughout the year we run a variety of workshops and trips to businesses to support young people to build their skills and confidence and inspire them to imagine and plan for their futures. In tandem, we support young people into a variety of volunteering opportunities across South London to provide them with work experience.
1:1 Casework
Alongside all of our programming our casework team provides 1:1 empowerment support for young people, working in partnership with them to ensure they understand the system they are navigating, can access services and are empowered to advocate for themselves. Our experienced casework team are embedded throughout our work, ensuring that young people have access to support when they need it and that problems are identified early, mitigating the risk of future crisis.
Unfortunately, due to limited capacity we do not accept casework referrals from external organisations or individuals.
